bansheerider420 Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 Bent frame or cracked swing arm. Quote
stclark816 Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 Check out the plastic, the frame, the tread on the tires, switches, wheels, after-market parts, a-arms, brakes and everything visible. Make a note of heavy scratches, loose parts, and things that are clearly damaged. Ask questions about use, and problems the owner has encountered. Hopefully, you will get some honest answers. Either way, if it looks good enough to buy ask to take it for a test drive. If they refuse, go ahead and start looking elsewhere. If you are able to test ride it, I'd test everything out. Ride it like ur going to at home, without rolling it over of course. Welcome to HQ and happy buying!! Quote
DallasGDub Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 Welcome to HQ. Shoot us some pics and a asking price. Might be able to help you out more. Some people over price what they have b/c most people do not know what a shee is all about. Look for neglect like oil and water color. Bent, broken, frame and worn bearings. Bushings, and front-end parts look strait. Other typical signs of wear. Somethings are ok, as long as the price is in the right range. Quote

ksboi Posted July 1, 2009 Author Report Posted July 1, 2009 so what is your thoughts about those 3 bikes? Quote
stclark816 Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 Well, what were the prices on the first 2? Maybe I missed it. But 3000 is too much IMO. You can find banshees a dime a dozen around here between 1000-2000. Quote
