just had 310 jets put in my 1999 banshee. its got a few upgrades like vforce reeds, T-3 toomeys, K&N pods...... was out riding yesturday and it ran GREAT 75% of the time. Once it awhile i'd be cruising around at low - mid rpms, it would just start boggin on low - mid throttle and try to die. but if i pulled in clutch and rev it seemed to clear up if i floored it.

i've got a 99" banshee with a few mods like toomeys, boost bottle, vforce reeds, and k&n's. ran into a guy and wants to sell me a +6 swing arm for $225 installed. I'm going to be riding a passenger 50% of the time. i will be doing 60% mountian and 40% dunes riding Just wanted some opinions, also looking for a picture of a shee with a +6 swing arm thanks!

Took the banshee in the dunes today with my wife, she keeps sliding off the seat!! do you guys have any suggestions on what i could get so its passenger friendly? any help is greatly apperciated thanks!

Ok, Did a compression test. Both are 112 PSI on compression. Put new NGK spark plugs in it, and took my air cleaners off and checked the sync. I could see the line threw the little window on the carb... Could it need the carbs adjust or have the jets adjusted??????

OK i'll just put the 2 quarts in the tranny. I love the smell of castor 927 oil. But local motorcycle 77shop don't carry it!!

Is Redline 2 stroke oil any good? I was thinking of mixing 40:1? So the tranny holds 2 quarts of oil?

What's the best 2 stroke oil? and what fuel mixture should i use? Banshee is pretty much stock except for reeds and toomeys. Also need to change fluids in bike. Do i just need to change transmission fluid? And how many quarts do i need to buy?

What should the compression be? The bike runs and goes great. Doesn't cut out/hesitate or miss a beat! Just worried about that right cylinder getting enough oil.

Hello, i am new to the Banshee forum. I just picked up a 1999 Yamaha Banshee 2 days ago for $2k It has the following mods: t-5 chrome tommeys, dual K&N filters, cool intake tube, v-force reeds, and ported heads. Bike fires up in 1-2 kicks! I have a few questions they are: My left pipe smokes when idling or low rpms and the right pipe doesn't blow smoke. What could this be? What oil to fuel mixture should i be running 40:1?? The bike has not been ran much in the last 2yrs the guy i bought it from said it was his wifes bike. I'm not a racer or interested in drag racing it. Just bought it to go out once in awhile with the wife and cruise around. Any help would be much apperciated thanks! Here's a pic of it with the bald dirt tires it came with lol. It did come with a NEW set of aluminum wheels and skat trak extreme paddles.
