stokes77 Posted June 9, 2009 Report Posted June 9, 2009 Hey guys, while I am rebuilding the carbs on my bike, I took the reed cages off to take a look at the reeds. They are sitting about 1/16th to 1/8th of an inch off the cage right now. Is this normal? If not, can I just flip them over to make them sit back down tight? Also, can i just upgrade the reeds instead of getting new cages and everything else? I would like to get a bit more bottom end out of the bike, the way it is set up right now it doesn't have much... just comes on like a rocket out of nowhere. Can get a bit scary at times when doing trail riding. Thanks -Mark Quote

Put on a new set of boyesen 2 stage power reeds. Thanks dude, I'll search them on the forums... see what I can find. Quote
278 Posted June 9, 2009 Report Posted June 9, 2009 Call Brandon at wildcard and have him do an aggressive trail port on your cylinders, as far as the reeds and cages, port them yourself and put the 2 stage boyesen reeds on there. Quote
