Me and my group are leaving wednesday to head out to Little Sahara UT until Sunday then going up to St.Anthony for a week, been watching the weather out there and it looks like its terrible. Has it been as bad as it looks on the TV? We've gone out to St Anthony every June for the last 4 years now, always had great weather, not looking too good for this trip though. Any word on if its supposed to get any better soon?

I live about 35 miles from Little Sahara and it's not been bad here. A little overcast with a few light showers and one or two breezy days this past week. Haven't looked at the weather forcast for the next week, but today would have been great riding weather.

thanks for info, it does look a lot more promising in UT then it does in ID. Looking back at last year it did the exact same thing in ID but when we got there the weather broke and was perfect the whole week, sure hope it happens again

actually, since you're from around there, we are staying at Oasis, what is the closest city for gas and food in case we need anything?

The closest city would be Delta, Ut. It is about 20-30 minutes south of the entrance to the dunes.

Weathers been rainy and cold here in Utah. I was in Idaho over the weekend and it poured! Definitley not a fun time right now man.

Check the weather for Sand mountain Utah on weather.com and see what it looks like.

I live about 30 minutes from St. Anthony, and its been real off and on lately with the rain. We've been able to sneak up to the dunes for a couple of morning and mid afternoon rides but the rain usually hits hard around 5 and goes all night. Looks like it isn't supposed to clear up til the start of next week or maybe even later. I'll let ya know if the weather breaks though.
