ya i knew it wasnt bad, but yeah it was a black tank sealed and in direct sun so i think that may be the problem. i know its a fuel issue, but well find out if thats it tomorow
the tank sat outside in the sun for llike the last three weeks. and now on with the fresh top end it doesnt want to start. could it possibly be bad gass..?
ive got sand stars right now but im looking to switch to haulers. ive heard they hook up a lot better. itps are by no means a bad tire, but im sure the haulers are a little better. id go with like 20x10x10 8 paddle should probly be fine
yeah the heat cycles. just let it idle and warm up until its warm to touch and let it coool completly right? and i heard three was enough?
but ive red to take it easy on the first take of gas, but ive also read to beat on it. just looking to see what works best.
to break in a new top end. im kinda a noob can someone walk me through the process. and ive heard of a couple different methods and im looking to see what hq thinks is best

i cant figure out how to post pictures in this forum so whatever, thers a link
i think that may be the problem because there is too much movement there, or theres something wrong with the cable further down. but idk how i would fix it.
and does it need a top end rebuild imediattly or is it ridable for awhile?
thanks for the help man. and yeah that how i got it to idle right, but see the black rubber cover. the previous owner had spliced that the reason idk why, but it has zipties to hold it on there. i think this may be the cause but there is play in the cable were it goes in and if it you touch it at all it opens up the slides and it runs away. :ermm:
another question. compresion is at 80 85 is that low? new top end?
still lookin for help on the cable too. its play at the thumb that is causing it. how do i keep it from moving in this area
alright so if you adjust the throttle cable so that it idles. any movement it in will make it run away, such as turning the bars, or jsut moving the cable at all. does the cable just need to be replaced, or is there a problem somewere?
