Steves banshee Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 I just purchased a stock swing-arm from a seller on this board, its for a 01 shee will it fit my 87Shee? I would think they fit all years, but i could be wrong? Nothing wrong with mine, the guy i got my shee from painted it dull black and i want the powdercoat grey look again. Thanks :biggrin: Quote

The bushings that are welded to the upper carrier mounts on the '88 are on the outside, where the bushings on the '01 are on the inside... You are going to need a newer carrier (at least one that matches the newer style arm). I will be curious to know if I am loosing my mind or not, but that is what I remember... Quote
