2001Stroker Posted May 26, 2009 Report Posted May 26, 2009 Steel wool cleans up pipes nice. It won't hurt the chrome at all. I usually get it at Home Depot. Quote

Drewski Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 i dont usersteel wool, I use a clean rag with brake clean after the pipes are hot. works real good Quote
Copenhagen Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 Get your pipes real hot and use easy off oven cleaner and rags to take it off, it will take pretty much anything off of pipes and it also does a great job shining at the same time. It works I've done it with melted rain gear of my motorcycle pipes and it worked great. Depending how much is on there it may take a few times to take it all off. Quote
