Darthwall Posted May 21, 2009 Report Posted May 21, 2009 I dont really know if anyone makes a paper head gasket they use the steel shim gaskets because of the compression and heat involved in that part of the engine if you really want to try one go out and get some gasket paper and make one up but anyways I have a new steel one if your interested Quote

Darthwall Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 it would raise the squish band but not much I think the stock gaskets are around 0.10 but not sure if you were to stack two of them I would use a gasket coating like permatex copper head gasket spray just to seal it a little better but you can have mine for like 10 shipped pm me if your interested Quote

The only thing that is coming off is the stock head and putting on a milled one in its place. It'd be a waste of money. Quote

No argument, it does make sense to get the kit. I'd just rather spend the money elsewhere, then to have something i don't need. So because I don't fork out 30 bucks for something I don't need, this isn't my sport?? Not everyone has the cash to throw around for their toys like you might. Quote
