They sound wicked too. But IMO a banshee always sounds better when someone else is riding it. It does sound sweet! You switched from T5's to cpi's right? Did you have to go up 4 jets I was told have to? With the 30mm do you ever feel like you run out of carb on top? Quote
RagunCajun Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 I think i went up one main jet size when i switched. From 320 to 330. But i might of been a tad rich. But i did TONS of WOT runs. So better safe than sorry i guess. The engine pulls fine on top. It even did so with stock carbs. Only reason i went with 30's was easier jet changes and it's something i been wanting to do. I wish i had more mph but with no 6th gear and 20" tires, oh well. What makes you think just 30's wont be enough on top end? Just curious. Quote

I have been told by several people to go to 33 to 35 on carbs. I have no idea on sizing carbs to engine so I have to listen to others and waiting for my port guy to call me back. Quote

I had k&t put on some 35mil carbs, k&n filters. new billet intakes, CPI Pipes in frame drag pipes, coolhead with domes, fresh topend with a bore job. Quote
