Well then if your dad is fronting the money then reason the mods stuff and the used banshee with him, otherwise have him use the yamaha financing and get the new one.

The payments are only $129.00 per month for 4 friggin years though.

I am sure you will want a car someday if you are young. Dont wast the money and get a good used one.

It will be payed off sooner and you can enjoy it more.

Show him all these guys advise if you have too.

You can tell by the used tires he has that he rode it on the street all the time.

That eats up the clutch faster than dirt i would imagine.

The elka set up is expensive, Id go with the $3,500 and no more than $3,800 though.

You can get an idea of how expensive that elka stuff is as well as the front suspension by checking catalogs at the local bike shop.

Yes its expensive but after all its not new.

Buy a used one dude...I bought my 2005 SE used a year ago for a hell of a lot less than that, and it pretty much was stored in a shed as an investment. It even had the whiskers on the stock tires.

There's better deals out there. Just don't buy someone elses problem. Find what to look for, pick up a lightly used newer one. Let someone else make the depreciation. Hell, 2006s at dealers around here even go for $4200 out the door. $6Gs is horrible.

Yeah, I been looking on craigslist also around my area and been finding decent deals. Like the one in my last reply.
