I have my topend apart and getting ready for reinstall,I was checking out the old pistons and noticed about 1.5 inches of the part in between the rings missing.I didn't notice that when I removed the topend.There is no evidence anywhere other than its just missing.Its on the intake side of the piston also.Anyone ever see this before? swrbansheeboy Posted May 11, 2009 Report Posted May 11, 2009 basicly your going to be looking for a slight "bevel" around your ports or that the edges of your ports have been ground/chamfered so there are no sharp edges that could hang up one of your rings... Quote

The only thing bad that happened was my proDesign impeller broke the shaft and the SOB got pretty fricken hot. Other than that,no problems whatsoever.I wonder how long it was like that.And where in the hell did the piece go? Quote
