BANSH-alena-jol-EE Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 hello, i want to remove my parking brake...is there anything special that i have too do, tips??? or can i just start tearing shit off? thanks!!! Quote
Bansh-eman Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 make sure you remove the controller going to the TORS. I would also recommend removing the TORS if you havent done so already. Pull the e-brake cable and all the crap on the rear caliper. Grab a blockoff plate from ebay and you should be good. Quote
shogs Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 When I got my banshee it was already removed, but I removed the one on my z400 and all I had to do was remove the parking brake from next to the clutch and remove the cable. Then put the blocking plate on. The guy above me has the right idea though. (cant see name when writing)I love the look of a clean bike and the parking brake on my z400 was huge. I did have to tie two wires together though but I don't have any idea what it was now that I remember though. . Quote

I think the two wires your thinking of is to remove the key. there isn't any wires that have to be tapped when removing the e-brake. Quote
