Anyone ride Gorman, ca

As the title states, does anyone here ride at Gorman (Hungry Valley)? I think i've seen maybe 1 or 2 banshee's out there in the past 4 years, but I also only go there about once a month.

 

I'm going for a 1/2 day trip with some friends that I'm meeting there on the 9th this month, it would be sweet if anyone from here came too.

I have heard they are real strick about having spark arrestors there.Is it true?I live here in Bakersfield and its not that far from me,but worried about enforcement..

The one time I went there I saw no rangers. but I have also heard that they check for spark arrestors!

Its in the middle of a forest so Its probably a good idea to run one .

when i first got my ltr i went and got a ticket for no sparky and for exhaust being to loud.......i will never go back

If you get to the gates before 7:30-8 there are no rangers there to check. They drive through the camp grounds from time to time but I've never seen anyone of them get out and actually check bikes. When I first got my banshee i didn't have sparkys on it, so i would just park the back of my bike up against my truck.

 

weekdays are the best time to go, no rangers and no crowds!
