springer Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 so i was out riding around for a min earlier today just because i had to pull my shee outta the garage. smokes decently at startup and possibly cuz shee's jetted a little off. anyways, some guy takes the time to stop when i pull back up at the house to let me know shee was smokin out the exhaust and i am probably burning oil. he said it cant be good then i said, ya you are prolly right seems how its a 2 stroke. then he said how his brother works on atv's and i should take it to him to look at. ya... thanks buddy. thanks for the great advice... lilmegill727 Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 you need to replace your power bands. Quote
R. Rollins Posted April 29, 2009 Report Posted April 29, 2009 Either that or a bad cam shaft. Needs new frequency greese on the fuel injection exhaust loudness knob. Thats what causes the smoke ya know. Quote
tidos76 Posted April 29, 2009 Report Posted April 29, 2009 have you checked you flux capasitor? Quote
Blownyel93 Posted April 29, 2009 Report Posted April 29, 2009 Also be sure and check you turn signal fluid, valve lash, and you should probally change the oil in your tires. Quote
lokisbuddy Posted April 29, 2009 Report Posted April 29, 2009 Actually it sounds to me like you are running a tad rich. Whats your mix ratio? I personally recommend switching to amsoil at 99.6:1 oh and definitly check the valve seats  Quote
