big_eh Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Hi My 2003 banshee seems like it runs like normal but it burns through a full tank of gas way faster than normal and it is smoking alot. i read a similar fourm here about "smoking problems" but didnt see anything about it mentioning excess fuel burning. I have tryed many things, such as compression test = 110 psi, and tryed my friends carbs who were jetted the same as mine but no change. oil and coolant levels were unchanged. PLs any suggestions about what the problem maybe be would be greatly appreciated Quote

yz4jdm Posted January 11, 2012 Report Posted January 11, 2012 I had a similar issue, found out that one of my floats was set incorrectly and it allowed exess fuel out of the overflow. I searched for days prior to figuring it out. Quote

fastquad02blaster Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 When my bike was stock, it was great on gas. My first trip to the dunes. I rode a lot the first day and it used down to reserve by the end of the day. Now with my my mods, it will use a tank by lunch. It's a lot faster though. You gotta pay to play. Quote
