Havent started my banshee in 6+ months

Honestly it could be more than 6 months. Other than changing out the old oil, what else should I touch up?

Yeah I'd probably change out the gas and oil, make sure the plugs are in tight, check radiator fluid level, lightly kick it over a few times to get things moving again and then crank her up.

Thanks dude. Best way to drain the tank? Just let it drain out the side?

i turn my petcock off, remove the tank and turn it upside down to get it all out

or you rip the gas line off and turn it on resurve. let it drip out that way.

 

 

also drain the carbs of any bad gas and while your at it clean them

i'd also clean the jets in your carbs. gas does not take long to break down when its being stored. the gas turns to a varnish and coats the inside of your jets reducing thier flow. this may burn you down if the are clogged badly. i've seen this happen quite a few times.
