this is what i have

 

cub cylindars

i think 68mil pistons

stock crank

380 jets

pods

stock carbs

t-5's

timing plate

tores removed

 

and a banshee sticker (just kidding about this one) can afford it lol..

 

but seriously what do u guys think. how much hp do i have?

i really have no guess for hp #s. however i am wondering why you are running a stock crank, stock carbs and t5's with that cub? i would think that the numbers arent gonna be very high and you're probly gonna be a little dissapointed untill upgrade those 3 things. :confused:

yea i know but i dont mind much im probaly going to keep the t-5's weild the crank and change the carbs just to make it better this is my trail bike

i have bigger plans for a dragbike ima build

should ring in around 80hp.. give or take a few hp depending on the state of tune.

i have a cub with a 4mm, timing is at 8 with shear drag pipes and 40mm hv lectrons converted to alky

lock up clutch and override tranny, everyone said if i put it on a dyno i should see somewhere around 100 so how could he be putting out 80? with just cubs?

 

from everything i was told i would guess your closer to 65-70. but i am just going off what people have told me.

i would guess since the stock carbs are probably choking you down a good bit, depending on the dyno too.. i would guess on a good tune you would probably be seeing about 55-60 just guessing..

Im with fouledout, close to 80 is right. Just cause its getting choked on carb and pipes doesnt mean that 20hp is being robbed....

 

 

I agree, I've seen stock Carbs pull 70-75hp.. But i believe there's to many variables here to really tell you anything.. Jmo

Dajogejr's 4mil cub on gas with the same setup as this guy made about 85hp on the dyno with just a clean up port.. (not sure on exact numbers, I havn't seen the dyno sheet in awhile) So I think thats a pretty good base line to guesstamate his setup.

 

 

Alot of variable here as mentioned... But 80hp (give or take a few) out of a 392 cub with that setup should be near that.

yeah thats a 4mill and i am pretty sure dajogejr has his setup dialed in...

there is no way with just cubs he is putting out 80 hp

 

i am lucky if i am putting out 100 and thats a with all the bells and whistles. the only way to really tell is race a 80hp shee or to get it dynoed. my guess at most 70 hp considering the info you have provided.

4mil is only good for 5-7 more hp. Wich is why I said 80hp and not 85hp for this guys setup. Dune ported stock cylinders with T-5 and stock carb make 70hp. I saw a A&S trail port with stock carbs and T-5's make 68hp. We race with a 392 cub and he's putting down 110+. My 4mil was 115+. Every dyno is different but I think its safe to assume he'd be making 5-7hp less the Dajogejr's bike since they had identical setups.. with both bikes being in equal state of tune.

I'm mainly trying to point out that this guys setup is capable of 80HP.. I'm asuming this guy has the bike dialed in and knows what he's doin.. as I do with everyone untill they show me otherwise.
