CoreyReid Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 May be a dump question but i am wondering what the advantages of running reed spacers is. I read that it will allow you to run a bit better on the top end, is there a sacrifice on the bottom? thanks Quote
2/2 many banshees Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 there used to clear the clutch arm when you use dif. carbs. Quote
official_style Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 they dont do shit. i have them on one of my banshees, the other doesnt. they are a rip off, unless you need to clearance. Quote
Sammy Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 there used to clear the clutch arm when you use dif. carbs. LOL :yelrotflmao: Pretty much seems to be the general answer. Some believe them to increase bottom end if you put them on the jug side of the reed, and top end if you put them on the carb side. Its kind of like carb spacers for v8's every engine is different.
