bitterbillybitchcakes Posted April 2, 2009 Author Report Posted April 2, 2009 I guess the cylinder is actually made by dasa racing Quote
SAVAGE420 Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 A older guy i run with sometimes, has that same cyl with a 4mil crank and it's a BEAST on the logging roads, trails and pit riding we ride. I want that same setupfor mine, hopefully next year. I say go for it man. Quote
chugger Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 I believe they are very similat to the t-rex setups if not the same. tdr stocks all the o-rings and pistons Quote
bitterbillybitchcakes Posted April 2, 2009 Author Report Posted April 2, 2009 I believe they are very similat to the t-rex setups if not the same. tdr stocks all the o-rings and pistons I just called them there the same I'm glad parts are available, i leaning towards getting it  Quote
chugger Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 I just called them there the same I'm glad parts are available, i leaning towards getting it  They are old technology but good. the t-rex cylinders are like 1900 so i say go for it. Quote
AKheathen Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 I know me neither the owner said the power valves use snow mobile tech he said he bought them off ebay and bored them looks just like the pv's on my sno-go. just uses the exhaust pressure, and you can adjust, so none of that servo controller crap. doubt it has the topend of a servo pv, but deffinately better than stock Quote
bitterbillybitchcakes Posted April 3, 2009 Author Report Posted April 3, 2009 he has the title for it but since he powder coated the frame it has no VIN number he said when it was sand blasted it took it off. will this be a big deal? say if i'm at the dunes and there is no VIN on it can i be harassed ? is this a common problem cause there is a lot of banshees with powder coated frames Quote
FireHead Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 i didnt know FMF made cylinders... maybe one of the gurus can tell you wats up.. The FMF cylinders are actually just T-Rex cylinders with FMF's name on them........ Quote
sandnut Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 Dasa stocks everything for them. Dasa calls it a 409 kit and the compression should be around 160psi +/-. I have the same setup. Quote
