EVILWAYS Posted March 31, 2009 Report Posted March 31, 2009 Has anybody had a problem with the Lone Star Sprocket Carrier? my locking nut backed off and broke carrier.....rear sprocket,chain,engine case :: now im trying to put my bike back together but im not to sure i want to use the same carrier since that was the cause of all the damage....it their any better carries i should look into? bansheefreak Posted March 31, 2009 Report Posted March 31, 2009 not the carriers fault you didnt get the lock nut locked.. just get a new lock nut if the one you have is junk or figure how it works to keep this from happening again... ohh also welcome to the site... Quote

I'm assuming you mean the sprocket hub, I run a lonestar hub on my 7 mil and never had a problem. Try running a locking hub nut instead of the stock two that lock together. Quote
