Hey Guys

Have started doing a build on my banshee and need some help with my jetting.

Info on bike

05 Banshee

Standard Bore

K&N Filter with Snorkel removed but with lid on

Bill's Power pipes and Silencers

Already has 270 Mains and Stock (25) Pilots

Standard Reeds

Stock head

Stock Carbs

32:1 Mix ratio and use 95 octane fuel

I ride in temprature anywhere between 10 degrees Celcius to 40 degress Celcius

I ride at Sea Level to 200ft ASL

I am going to add an adjustable timing plate at +4

Before I pulled it all down i noticed that it was bogging a little bit off idle but when it came on band it hit very hard and when starting it cold it sometimes back fired.

Given this information I have provided could one of you please give me a couple of pointers on what my jetting should be.

Cheers

Adrian

Try removing the lid box and see if it runs better, sometimes these banshee starve for air with lid on, my buddies done that shit the other day after jetting it and adding pipes it ran like shit, so i removed the airbox lid and BAAAAM !!! fukin screamed, i told him to drill 1 inch holes in his box all around and buy those vents that can be put in place. Im sure you can find them on rockymountainatv.com like 20 bucks or cheaper :)

Good luck

Try removing the lid again (make sure you have a pro flow kit so the filter fastens properly to the box, otherwise..air leak + Dirt = big boom.

Try turning each air screw in .5 to 1.0 turns in to give it more fuel on the bottom.

Starting is all about pilot jet size (which I think you're fine on) and air screw setting.
