  1. you maybe on to something there, might have to check it out. As for the stator, when I pulled the cover off it didnt appear to have to much water in there, but i suppose this could still be an issue. Could it be the spark pickup gap?
  2. tors has been removed bro, pulled the stator cover off and sprayed a heap of water disperesnt in there so all the moisture should have been removed
  3. Hey guys, So here is my problem, I went through a bit of water a couple of weeks ago and about 1-2 an hour later the only way I could start it was pull starting, but at low rpms I would lose spark and it would die. After pull starting 4 times I lost spark altogether and it would not even pullstart. So I pulled the stator cover off and sprayed everything with a water dispersant and unclipped all connections and sprayed them. I had a spare coil so I wacked that in and it fired over first kick. Took it for a bit of a run and it went fine. Next day I went to start it and it was like I had a inconsistent spark, would fire but would not idle at all. So I put the original coil back in (The one that went through water) Fired like 2nd kick, Same deal again took it for a ride and went fine. Tryed to start it next morning and same thing will fire every 5 kicks but wont idle. Please Help this has really got me stumped
  4. yeh i tried taking the lid off, it went alot better but it made it very hard to start. Any suggestions on Jetting anyone like what Mains I could run and what pilots
