lokisbuddy
Ok I would really appreciate it if some could take a common household item that everyone has and measure their float with it so I can adjust mine. ( I know it sounds like a messed up way to do it but I really have no other way, Unless one of you canadians would like to send me a ruler? )
dajogejr
I got one better...eyeball. Turn the carb upside down, when the bottom of the float is level...it's set.
dragbanshee
Thats the way I learned to do it. The factory seems on the floats level with the carb gasket surface, NOT SAME HEIGHT just paralel with each other.
lokisbuddy
Can you post a pic for me please?
Rodneya
What, you don't have any rulers in your neck of the woods. 21mm is 08268 inches or about 13/16 of an inch.

ozbanshee
I found this link on HQ the other day has all the info you will ever need for carbs http://www.dfn.com/benkaren/jetfaq.html Q#27). If the tip of the float needle and the seat is clean, check the float height. Hang the float needle back on the float bracket and set the assembly back in place so that the float needle drops into it
