LS1Inferno Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 you need to spit the cases. sounds like a shift fork problem Quote
blowit Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 well i got it to run in 2nd and in 4th idk???? You sure you put the clutch together right? Pressure plate indexed correctly? If the pressure plate is rotated wrong, it will not apply pressure to the plates. Seen that toooo many times on DIY clutch builds. Just does not sound like you did anything to kill the trans. Possibly just an assembly issue. Brandon Quote

tony cub Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 let me ask you this..sorry if it has been asked already, but do all the gears go in when the bike is off??if everything feels good with the bike off you might havee a problem with one of the forks.. Quote

tidos76 Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 if it will move in 2nd and 3rd but not 1st you more than likely have something wrong inside the cases. Quote
