screamin_banshee_2003 Posted March 9, 2009 Report Posted March 9, 2009 hi guyz I am facing problems with my cooling system. I think the piston either in the up or down stroke is pressurizing the cooling system. I changed the o-rings(cool head gaskets) with two diffrent mechanics and it didn't work out. Installed a used trinity stage 4 head and that didn't work also. Basicly my problem is that coolant is getting pumped out from the overflow tube beside the radiator. My shee would remove all the coolant in the coolant system in 5 minutes. Water is just getting pumped out of the overflow tube. The more i rev it the more the amount of water geting pumped. Is there other gasket other than the orings that could be worn and causing the problem. Could it be the rad cap Or maybe there is a hole in my transfers in which air fuel mix is getting inside the water jackets. Any theories or solution would be appreciated. I would clarify anythin that is not clear. I just want to ride the shee Thanx in advance Quote
LS1Inferno Posted March 9, 2009 Report Posted March 9, 2009 you cylinder base gasket. the rubber plug on the jugs goes into the water jacket i believe. Quote
