Whats it worth?

87 Frame with what I think is an 06 engine, welded crank, wiseco pro-lites with 0 seconds on them, tors removed, k&ns with outwears, .80 over cylinders, t5's, every piece of hardware is new. Im just wondering if I were to advertise it on craigslist running, how much I could expect it to bring in, not that im selling it, im just curious.

Check craigslist around where you live should help you establish a value.And in my opinion if you want try and raise the value ditch yellow seat cover and get some cheap black cover.Detail the piss out of it you already have a good color plastic black

The market sucks out there rite now,its only worth what someone is willing to give you for it.My boy has been raping people for there machines and making a killing.We dont pay anything over $1500 no matter what it is or shape,no paper work even less.trying to scoff as much up as we can while times are tuff.You do see bikes listed for decent money but are they getting that for it.If your thinking about selling be ready to let it go cheap,youll never get what you put in

a guy around me is trying to sell a 01 with pods and t5's for 1500 and cant get rid of it. i know hes had it for sale for at least 6 or 8 months.

The seat is ugly.

Buy a cheap two tone or all black seat cover and change it.

 

The fenders need re-shaped....

You could prop them up with something on the tires and heat them up with a heat gun (very carefully) heating the whole fender slowly

Once they cool down they will be back in shape.

 

Then take a car polisher (high speed professional type) and wax it up and polish the plastic to new shine again.

Most all the scratches will come out if you wax and polish long enough.

(it is alot of work though)

 

For what its worth ....Its a collector bike now and darned nice looking.

I would definately keep it.

damn, oh well. somehow people are getting alot out of their banshees around here. one worse looking than mine just went for 2200. the seat, it came with the banshee, im not keeping it. the fenders, they arent bolted down yet, they are in shape.

Looks pretty rough, and it is over 20 years old. trying to convince a buyer the motor is newer will just sound like BS. the market does suck right now, and for something that had been hammered for over 20 years there will be very few people willing to buy when there are many newer machines out there for only a few hundred more. just keep it and enjoy it. a running banshee is worth more than a few dollars in your pocket. $900 will get you nowhere
