I just picked up an 01 Banshee Friday to build and ride. It starts up and runs but it is locked in gear so I need to get inside and see whats up. After reading on this site a little, It sounds like maybe a bent shift fork or something. Suggestions??? I stripped the quad to the frame and took the engine out, I guess I'll be splitting it open next. Looking forward to getting it rolling and start installing some go fast parts rather than the necessary parts.

Thanks for the replies, I picked up a Clymer manual today. Hopefully I'm up for the job. I've rebuilt upper and lower ends on a few two stroke single cylinder bikes in the past but never a twin cylinder. I know I can handle the disassembly anyway. LOL. My KX500 is due for a rebuild next.
