JasonsBanshee Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 So there's been a lot of talk of putting together a spring ride for Haspin after we all put the Badlands trip in the memory books. So, I'm thinking we should do this when we know it should be warm so we can camp. I'm thinking we should arrive at Haspin on a Saturday, camp over night and ride Sunday too. Really, the first step is setting a date. I'm thinking sometime in May would be idea. However, Memorial Day weekend is out of the question because that place is crazy packed and won't be worth the trip. How would May 16th and 17th work for everyone? This is the weekend before Memorial Day weekend. If this works we'll set it in stone and go from there. I will be loading up and bring my gas grille to cook out on. I will set everything up and get with Haspin to let them know we are coming! Haspin is located at 21208 Laurel Rd Laurel, IN 47024 (765) 698-2420 Their web site is http://www.haspinacres.com This place has two tracks, a 300 foot drag strip and 800 acres of wooded trails. I ride there often and can tell you anything you'd like to know about it. Quote

Or most drag and trails? drag and endless trails. good place once it gets dark to fill up strap on a cooler and go get lost. although there is alot of idiots that go there. Quote

No dunes. They do have a sand hill but it's nothing special. It's like 50 feet of sand up a small incline. Other than that there are tons of trails and the 3 tracks. It's a pretty good place to ride. I've been so many times it's kind of lost it's newness but I still have a good time. If we get a bunch of Banshees there that will make it that much more fun! Quote

hardcoremoto.com Posted February 24, 2009 Report Posted February 24, 2009 Hey guys, I was just there in Oct. It wasn't nearly as good as The Badlands. The Track was in horrible shape and the ruts were so bad from the 4x4 trucks etc, we left early. Not trying to rain on your parade, but the Badlands is better in my opinion. The Drag strip was the only thing that was cool at Haspin. Other than that it wasn't worth the trip. Just my 2 cents. Quote
