Shee-ban man Posted February 22, 2009 Report Posted February 22, 2009 I bought some Amsoil saber pre-mix oil from a friends dad. I thought i was going to get dominator oil but he got me saber 100:1 pre-mix. He told me they use it in everything they have and that i should mix it 80:1 for my banshee, but that don't seem right to mix it that lean. I was wondering if anybody could give me some input bout what they think i should mix it at. Thanks Quote

When i used to run saber i was running 110:1 and would still have the occasional foul. When they (Alan Amatuzio) designed the oil, they tested it at 350:1 in snowmobiles and had no issues. Good luck. TwistedSheeRida Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 i currently run klotz benol 40:1 in mine but want to go to the amsoil dominator this year. those of you that run it should i keep it at 40:1 or lean it out a little bit to 50:1? Quote
sheerider1026 Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 i have always run mine at 50:1, and when i have my motors apart, they always have a nice oily film.. i haven't had to tear down for a rebuild, just tranny mods, powdercoating, and changing head domes.. Quote
