DallasGDub Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 I have check my compression. Both sides run 180. He wasn't running right his coil was bad and he change it and fix his, but we also check his and his was 150 on the left side and 130 on the right side. On this boost bottle, I talking about silver thing that holds air not juice. I didn't think a boost bottle matter that much. Everyone is just messing with you. The boost bottle gets brought up in every other thread. Hard to say whats up with your bike with out more info as to how it runs. If the clutch is slipping, it would rev, with little pull to it. Also if you have beatin him on dirt, it could be a bite issue. If you have more power, it would not matter if you can not get traction. 180psi seems a little high on 20cc domes here around Dallas, are you sure that is right? Quote
Michael Jackson Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 MY BANSHEE HAS BEEN POLISHED ,COOL HEAD WITH 20CC DOMES, V FORCE REEDS, TOOMEY T5, BORED .20 OVER K&N POD FILTERS AND A BOOST BOTTLE. I THINK THAT'S IT. what does polished mean? Quote
Rodneya Posted February 19, 2009 Report Posted February 19, 2009 (edited) what does polished mean? Maybe his bike is polished for less wind resistance, or the boost bottle is polished to look really fast standing still. just kidding. bike and sled shops that don't know how to do porting will charge you around $350 to do a clean up to the intake and polish the exhaust port and try to convince you that it will make your bike scream. There's a sucker born every minute Edited February 19, 2009 by Rodneya Quote
R. Rollins Posted February 19, 2009 Report Posted February 19, 2009 All these guys are messing with ya on the boost bottle: Its been discussed like forever. Get rid of it and throw it in the trash. Its useless. In fact it just may be a problem. Who knows. Trash the boost bottle Im not yelling, just emphasizing. Check your jets , who knows you may be set wrong. It may have high altitude jets in it and you are at sea level. eliminate the possibilities. Quote
kwalt21 Posted February 19, 2009 Report Posted February 19, 2009 The boost bottle makes all the difference! Quote

My bike had cylinder work and they clean them up. I really not sure what size domes I have. That is just what I was told. I check my comprssion just the other day and that is what it showed on both sides. Quote
