What kinda of riding are you gonna be doing? I dont know about milling a cool head but I do know you can mill the domes for a bigger crank

As far as the cool head goes you can just buy smaller domes to increase the compression, milling it would ruin the part as the o-ring grooves would be too shallow and the domes wouldn't have enough squish clearance unless rechambered.

Milling your stock head is a cost effective alternative to the coolhead and yeilds the same results without the bling. You can usually get away with about .020-.030" before you have to rechamber, but to get the maximum gains from milling it is recommended to rechamber it.

You should only bore your cylinders if they need to be done due to wear. Pointless bores don't add any noticable power and rob you of future rebuilds.

milling the stock head is to increase the compression at low cost, and yah, the point of a cool hed is to change the domes for the desired compression. boring out doesn't really bring any power, but rather a fresh bore to work with. the lightened pistons reduce recipricating mass, requiring less force at higher rpm's to move

i am going to be doing alot of drag or racing on pavement in general, plus alot of trail riding which is 4 gear the highest...not sure what you guys mean about porting the chambers, but is this essentail? nobody can do porting where i live!! whats the smallest i should bore, just to freshen it up?, whats the best pistons to match? im looking for top end power mostly, just want her to scream!!!!!!i got vf3 comming, boost bottle, i didnt know they were bogus when i ordered, sst pipes, i like the idea of bigger carbs? and those pods are they the best method of intake? i know alot of questions but i have zero help here!!

surf the site for biulders, and talk with them, ship your juggs to the one you like, and they will get you setup for what you want. for what your looking to gain, you'll probably need to change pipes. if you are ridding trails, you'll need a airbox setup, rather than pods.

oh, sorry, the juggs are your cylinders. when you talk to a biulder, you tell them what kind of power you want. they should tell you what pipes, reeds, carbs, domes, etc, that will work the best with the port job. the sst pipes, may or may not work well for the power you want
