run
I havent washed her yet, but I'm wanting to make sure I dont screw it up. What can I use on the motor and etc to clean it, and also can I pretty much hose it all off as long as it's not a powerwasher? And I have FMF pipes, what works good on them? I used PJ1 on my 450.....just wanted to make sure I could do this one the same. Thanks guys!!
jamebo
I put a plastic sandwich bag over the snorkel to make sure no water gets into the airbox. Also, make sure none gets in the pipes. Then I usually just use regular zipwax carwash and rags to wash mine. Afterwards, I dry it good with a leafblower then wipe the steel down with WD-40 on a rag to prevent rust. I also wipe the pipes down with WD-40.
