I have a +8 swinger on my 10 mill duner and it works great.

BUT

I am running 11 paddle haulers and I can't keep the front end down. And I am goind to a 12 paddle extreme or 14 paddle hauler.

So, I think I may hurt myself if I keep the +8, but I want to be able to have fun at the dunes and jump a little.

How bad does a +12 mess you up in the dunes?

I'd imagine jumping a +12 stretched banshee would be sort of like trying to jump a crappy go kart (teeter totter effect). Just wait to wack the throttle till your farther in the powerband.

seriously? i wouldnt dune on anything more than a +6 but thats me. going from 8 to 12 is a pretty long stretch.

are you seriously considering jumping with a +12 swingarm???

Now when I say jump, I mean, like maybe 5' off the ground at the most. And I am also concerned about being able to carve bowls too.

I've heard stretched rigid's are pretty good for duning. I think there only rated up to 4' off the ground though.

On lonestar's website it says UP TO 12'.

So I would think with shocks I should be alright......right?

dude,i dont know much about sand and dunes(the closes sand to me is at south beach),but a +12 is for hill shoting or drag racing..not for jumping and carving bowls :banghead: i would say stick to what you have

f you guys

f u in the a

I guess I have a good idea on how the ride would be.

I'm just trying to see if I can get someone to convince me otherwise.

I love dragging, and I could be really compedetive with the motor I have, but I hate the thought of not being able to just go rip up the duned after I'm finished racing.

I may just keep the setup I have now and make the best of it.

Thanks guys.

We can ride the dunes and shoot the hills but I WOULD NOT advise jumping. I caught air with mine on accident the front wheels are on the way down when the backend launches. It will make you wish you had a big red S on your underwear.I will be going to a shorter swinger as soon as funds permit.Same bike in pic but with 23x10.5x12 8 paddle haulers.
