mine use to be purple. my paint job has held up well for several months now. painting them is not that hard and not that expensive if you have an air compressor. get a decent paint gun and some good paint that will flex and then start sanding and cleaning. i agree spray painting sucks. here is what paint i used and it wont crack. definately not made for plastic but it works better than anything ive seen

I've found an 18 wheeler industrial compressor that blows mine out of the water, and all of the gun/spray set up equipment so I'll most likely be using that. :biggrin:

 

What grits should I use for wet sanding it... I don't know anything about plastic, sorry...

Scorch them with a welding torch! If you don't replace or paint them, not sure if there's another way. But I like the Sharpie comment to!....LOL
