blaster2006 Posted February 11, 2009 Author Report Posted February 11, 2009 Reeds don't have much of a power gain, more of a throttle response mod. i know. although they claim 3-4hp on their website. what im trying to say is i did not feel a response gain Quote
shanYE west Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 You would have noticed alot bigger gains on a bigger built motor. Good reeds on stock cages is usually suffecient for the average play motor. The VF's really start to shine on the big motors and drag ports. Whats your elevation and temps out that way? Quote
J-Madd Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 Reeds don't have much of a power gain, more of a throttle response mod. ^^^^^^^^^^^ Also, changing reed cages won't fix a jetting problem, which is what you have. People have given you good advice on jetting. I'd go with that first. Quote
