ban06shee Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 i just got my first set of T6's and they sent me the wrong jets, how much do jets cost? i plan on taking it to a shop here in town to have them install them. how much should a set of jets cost at a shop and what size jets would you guys think i need at an elevation of 2389ft in tucson,az? thanks Quote

I picked up a couple jets from screwie Lewies and the charged me 6 bucks a piece. You can get them cheaper than that for sure. Quote
'04limited Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 if your running an open filter setup like k&n pods you'll probably be around a 320 main needle on 3rd ot 4th clip and stock pilots, jets should run you anywhere from 3-6 bucks a piece. Quote

You can get them cheaper than that for sure. i removed the stock airbox and put the k&n pods right up on the carb. they sent me 1 280 and 3 270's. i dont want to mess up my bike, i just dont want to mess anything up on my bike Quote

ban06shee Posted February 7, 2009 Author Report Posted February 7, 2009 well everyone i got it all installed! its a whole new world, the bike is wayyyy faster! they set it up with 300 jets. i dont know all the details but they said the bike was ready for glamis and should be perfect for regular riding here in tucson. runs great, thanks everyone for all the help! ill post pics as soon as i find out how to.
