gsxr to banshee Posted January 30, 2009 Report Posted January 30, 2009 Are 38 kiehin pj to big for a 4 mil motor and if so whats the bigest you want to go with out blowing up engine thanjks Quote
sheefreak Posted January 30, 2009 Report Posted January 30, 2009 Depends on what kinda riding you do and 4 mil what? I can tell you I ran a 4 mil drag ported stock cyl setup on 39PWK's and it ran great for drag racing. For a duner you may want to more look at 35's. I think little better throttle response. If the 38's are already something you have, I say run em! Quote

I put the 34's on it and it runs great. Reeds will make a big difference depending on what you get. I think for just duning and trail riding i would go with the 34's. Quote

kubitza123 Posted January 30, 2009 Report Posted January 30, 2009 Mines set up for drag on alky with 39"s and runs and cranks great Quote
dajogejr Posted January 30, 2009 Report Posted January 30, 2009 I would look into 35PWKs. The PJs are old school and are not as easy to adjust as the newer, more modern PWK series. That's not to say they won't work...but PWKs would be my choice personally... Quote
locogato11283 Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 i would not run those older style keihin carbs. go with the PWK series in either 33 or 35mm and youll be happy. Quote
njbanshee Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 i had the the 33's on my stock cylinder 4 mill. that thing ran strong, and was a great trail bike. Quote
