People usually say when you can pull it and not kick it over then its low compression, but if you did a recent rebuild then that shouldn't be the case. I'd think that you'd know if the kicker was defective some how lol. Good luck i'm sure someone can chime in and help you out. Quote
gasmask34 Posted January 30, 2009 Report Posted January 30, 2009 hey.. i got a banshee right... it will not start... it runs.. ill pull start it runs Great. but i can kik it all day and it will not start??? any idiea? i replaced like everything.. new crank ,rebuild. plugs, plug wires. im thinking something with carbs? i had one of my bike do that. as long as you push or pull it off it will run all day long but try kicking it nothing happens. i ended up replacing the hole ignition system and no prolem since then. pull the spark plugs out and see if you have a spark while kicking it over. if no spark its and ignition problem. start with the ground wire and all connector. farmguy Posted January 30, 2009 Report Posted January 30, 2009 my buddies dirtbike would flood itself if it wasn't runing for a couple hours. the only way it would start is if he pushed it. i finally told him to hold the throttle wide open while kicking and she fired right up. Quote
magz Posted January 30, 2009 Report Posted January 30, 2009 have you checked the compression since the rebuild? let us know the PSI, have you cleaned the carbs and have you synced the carbs? have you tried fresh plugs? have you check to make sure your output of your stator? Quote
