swhitey917 Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 (edited) I am going to be ordering new plastic in a few months and i was wanting to know which color i should go with that wouldn't show abuse as much. (scratches, etc) I was thinking about going all black but i have never owned a quad with black plastic and didnt know how bad it shows scratches. I ride ALOT of trails so.... SandRageShee Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 do what i did to mine.. i wet sanded with some 400.. then some 600..them some 1000 gritt.. and then some 2k grit..and put some mothers wax on it.. smoothed out all the imperfections.. and made them shine like new.. i did that to my fronts. rear. tank and rad cover.. looks like NEW and they are original 87 plastics Quote

White seems to turn yellow after a while. Blue does show creases and scratches bad. Everyone that I know with red, it seems to fade. So, my vote is for silver. But, I don't like seeing alot of the same colors on here. That's why I got that color. Quote
