VWMIKE Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 Well I'm bringing myself up to speed very quickly on the exciting world of banshees, and trying to figure out everything that has been done, both good and bad, to mine. It's had the tors removed, and the idle screws drilled and tapped, but they appear not to lift the slides high enough, even when screwed in all the way to make it idle. It looks like the previous owner was using the cable adjusters on the top to raise the slides and make it idle. the screws and lock nuts I have look identical to the ones in all the kits. Can I trim the bosses down to allow the screw to reach further in? you can see where the screws contact the cut away on the slides, and all the way in they only contact the upper 1/2. Thanks Mike Quote
BlasterKX Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 thats what i had to do with mine. just maek sure you clean all the metal pieces out before installing again. and try to clean the threads up with the tap. the taps a 6mm with 75 pitch Quote
