im building my bike to be a 50% hill shooter and 50% dune bike , im ordering a + 6 ladder swinger and im going to be putting a 10 mil cheetah motor together. now im looking into axles i like the jj and a hillshooter axle . not the drag one. i know its a bit more expensive but looks to be better engineering than the lsr and cheaper. i know i can find a steel one for alot cheaper though . just want some feedback on these.

I have had a few of them and you cannot buy a better ally axle. Get the gun drilled hillshooter as they are more resistant to bend than the solid axles (which is contrary to intuition).

I reccomend getting the axle straight from JJ&A. They have website you can find by googling it.

my only problem with the gun drilled axles is that they are kind of short. ive got a set of +2 +1 a arms id like to use and i dont want the front to be alot wider than the rear . has anyone had any issues with the solid axle?

they say the hillshooter comes up to 28 inch , what is the stocker? even if its stock legnth id go with it but i think its shorter. can someone enlighten me?

didnt even think about that but its just like drag cars. do i need a special offset rim as well? im still a total noob to this stuff so any help is appreciated.

i see skat trak has a 21x12x8 paddle in the hauler but i dont want it to look goofy.

start looking at all the drag bikes, they are mostly narrower in the back (better traction, stronger...)

you wont have clearance problems, so offset is personal preferance... center is ideal, unless you want or need wider or narrower than your axle width for your needs
