Facetious Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 Anyone have any tips on a quick fix for a choke plunger? The damn thing won't stay out. It looks like the little rubber cap that catches the groove on the plunger shaft is worn. Do they sell new plunger kits or choke rebuild kits? Quote
regalrocket Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 Inside the plunger assembly rubber seal, there is a thin metal spring clip. It rusts and breaks, causing the issue you have. You cannot get the spring for it, so you just have to get a new assembly. A wrench will take it right out, it comes out as one assembly. Its like 32 bucks for a new one from the dealer. Quote
