b-nasty Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 Has anybody used a raptor axle in their drag bikes. How did it end up working and what is the total lenght verses a banshee. Quote
Wildcardracing Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 I run a blaster axle on mine, but if I'm not mistaken the 660 axle is just about the same length wise and also bolts right in. I believe it is about 3.5 to 4 inches narrower. Quote
kawiking Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 i believe 99fastshee and rippen both run raptor axles. i believe they are 2' narrower than stock shee axles's Quote
KaosBanshee44 Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 Just scooped one up from someone on here, there 3.5 inches narrower than a stock one. Can't wait to see what it looks like on the bike it's a cheap drag axel but i'll get a lsr down the road. Quote
Bansh-eman Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 i dont like axles with splines. Thats why I went with a JJ&A. IMO I would go for a keyed axle. We used them racing go-karts and never had a single problem with them. Quote
KaosBanshee44 Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 Correction i meant to say JJ&A, Thanks Greg. lol I agree with ya on that one as well i had it turned around. Quote
