first time posting here but i swear ive researched old topics before posting hahah..... just bought my first shee and it needed top end build, had cylinders bored and honed and now its time to start modding. it had fmf phattys with power core 2 silencers, 260 mains and stock filter. i swapped filter for the uni dual stage foam and adapter. dropped a tooth on front spocket and waiting on chariot billet timing advance. im running 93 octance and klotz benol..... im in memphis,tn and im not sure of elevation but arent my mains a little small? most people here with similar mods have at least 300 mains in..just wondering? also i do aggresive trails and the occasional drags with friends.... i will be moving to ported cylinders and a 4mill long rod very soon, so more questions will arrise.

thaks for the reply and the welcome....so ill get me a jet kit on the way, i knew something was wrong because everyone told me to loose the airbox lid and when i took it off it bogs bad at lower rpm like it was starving for fuel. also im gonna order a noss head within a few weeks, how small of a dome can i run on 93 octane safely? or what would u reccomend? it already had a boost bottle should i trash it? its seems a waste of space to me......thanks again.

dont run it lean. less fuel = less lube = ruined top end and possibly rods, crank etc ( i didnt do a plug chop on mine and i let my brother ride the day after i got it and i found out it was running lean the hard way :banghead: ).

21 or 22cc domes should be good for pump gas and yes ditch the boost bottle and put the crossover tub back on. everybody on this site will chastise you pretty bad for even admitting to having a boost bottle.
