locogato11283 Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 this was actually addressed a long time ago in another thread. i see no point in buying a brand new bike that weighs that much more. personally, i would rather have a steel frame just in case i ever wrecked it and wanted to fix it myself. aluminum is much harder to work with. my 2006 yfz450 is prolly the last 450 ill ever own. i cant see spending the money for the efi and alum frame and having to deal with the extra weight. 05.Banshee.SE Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 ... which is pretty much the new banshee of the future. I'm ashamed you even said this... Just because two stroke technology is dying, doesn't mean you need to insult the Banshee like this. Even Achilles, the great war hero, fell eventually. A man thought to be immortal. But there's no doubting he was great, and one of the best at what he did. I'd like to see any average man step up to him...they would surely be slain. Quote
Angel ripper Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 the motor is also all new and the front frame is narrower resulting in much better handling and cornering for racers it is a great platform to build upon Quote
