F.T.W. Banshee Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 I would like to be running that kind of compression. You must be around sea level. It does seem a lil high for that dome though. Quote
sleeper06 Posted January 4, 2009 Author Report Posted January 4, 2009 I live right at sea level Quote
F.T.W. Banshee Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 I does sound high because cause 21 cc domes at sea level is around 156. If it runs well I wouldnt worry about it. Quote
bbcmudtruck Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Check your squish, may be a little on the tight side. Quote
m barrett Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 I JUST DID MY TOPEND OVER with fresh bore and mine at 135ps with stock head at sea level so does that mean my cyliners are mess up.shouid my numbers be higher Quote
sleeper06 Posted January 5, 2009 Author Report Posted January 5, 2009 I checked squish on bike and its at .050, supposidly 22 domes, it was etched in the side of dome.To add another one to the mix my good friend runs a jet ski shop in my town comes over with his snap on tester it reads 168psi both sides, so now thats my snap-on guage(165psi)my craftsman guage(170psi),the bike owners guage(170psi),my friends guage(168psi).Four diffrent testers defied what the dome said so i gave it +4 timing somec12 and she runs hard, how long on a stock crank well see? Snopczynski Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 Stock pistons? Compression should be 125 psi with 22cc domes and that much squish. Is it .050" squish across the entire band? How long is the squish band? Quote

F.T.W. Banshee Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 Sounds like 20cc to me. Could have been stamped wrong. Quote
Wildcardracing Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 What bore is it on?? You may want to get some plexiglass and cc your domes to make sure they are 22's Quote
