shogs Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 I'm in the process of buying dmc 916's for around 220-240 and was wondering how much value they hold if there in good shape? I also have fmf so-cal fatties with powercore 2's and might sell them if I like the 916's. Which pipe has more of a lowend? I like snappy responses which is what I hear about the 916's but I plan on riding trails and dont want a mid-top end pipe. What do you guys think? Quote
shogs Posted December 18, 2008 Author Report Posted December 18, 2008 In reality i'm asking which pipes are better for trails and low end riding. I've searched but says no results. Quote
shogs Posted December 18, 2008 Author Report Posted December 18, 2008 Nobody? I know someone knows what pipes are better. Quote
Paddleboy Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 never used the 916 but my fattys are ok for trails Quote
downNdirty Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 You should just give me the 916's. Hell I'll even pay for shipping. Quote

I have heard alot of good things about pro circuit pipes for your riding style but i have never personaly had any. Quote
tundish2800 Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 I had some pc's on my trail bike they were great for the trails Quote
SandRageShee Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 OK! DMC's are very MID to TOPEND pipes. they bog on low and then start screaming mid and top.. my fmf's hit fuggin hard on low and mid.. kinda flat up top but hey.. i dont mind. Quote
BanditOnTheBanshee Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 i would say stick with the fmf's or better switch to pro circuit Quote
Duneman101 Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 I would stick with the fatty's for the kind of riding you are doing right now. the 916's are a great pipe for upper mid and top, you can trail them, but you'll have to keep it pretty revved out. i have PC's on mine right now, they are great low mid pipe, they leave a lot to be desired on the top end bang, but if you like have the power always on hand they are good.
