drap660 Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 I have a 98 banshee with t5's some nice porting, wiseco.50mm, 150lbs of compression, stock carbs jetted at 290 with 16/40 gearing. The bike runs strong, 103mph to be exact and 96mph in 1/4 with me on it (265lbs). <- That was just background info. Now for my questions, it has an issue shifting from 3rd to 4th, you nearly have to kick it 3 times to get it in, Just started happening and every other gear is fine, sometimes it even gets stuck like inbetween gears (makes it feel like neutral). I built my bike from scratch and have built many 4 strokes, but Im alittle rusty with tranny's. Is this a fork issue? Another thing is how do you guys feel about that alba shifting cam. They (Alba) say it makes shifting alot easier. And for the last one, my bike has a shiety ebc clutch on it and I want to upgrade, whats the best affordable clutch for a 70-80hp motor? Any help would be appreciated Quote
locogato11283 Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 sounds like a possible bent shift fork. it doesnt take much to mess them up.. are you mainly dragging this bike?? Quote
