is it possible for a slightly modded shee to beat a quadzilla? or is it going to have to be a full blown shee?? i am just wondering

depends on what you call slightly modded and also on how modded the zilla is.

piped filter jetted reeds? simple stuff like that. and a all stock zilla

well with those mods, next would be rider....with a good rider on the banshee id put my money on the banshee, how long of a race are we talking here?

i mean on a country road just two guys and 2 quads all balls out and seeing who might be the winner. im just curious. cuz i think im going to be doing it once it gets nice out lol

Zilla.

The should do high 70's to low 80s bone stock...weigh roughly the same as your banshee...and have 5 to 8 HP more bone stock vs your piped and filter'd bike.

Over that long of a distance...geared right...you might be able to catch and pull away on top end because your bike will rev further and you have a 6 speed tranny vs. his 5 speed. But...should be a good race...

It think rider weight and ability will be the real deciding factor to be honest.

haha damn thats a really long race. i hope you got some tall ass tires or tall gearing. Your bike is gonna be topped out by 1/8th mile probably. But i still put my bet on the banshee, if the race is basically to see who has the most top end. which it sounds like it is.

yeah pretty much to see whose got the top end. he weighs more then me. i got 22" tires and am bumping up one more tooth. also hoping to get VF3s and noss head with 20 or 21 cc domes. and k&n filter. i heard a long rod kit would be awesome also?

who races a 1/2 mile lt 500 is like a banshee and like a gt mustang no 2 run the same.ive seen 2 stock mustangs where one will smoke the other one many different times over the years.then it comes down to the rider which makes the most difference in a short race.who rides better you or him.also is his lt a turd or is it tuned right.is your bike tuned right.i had a lt500 years back and it was just jetted with a lcs pipe and a k&n filter and it would run the better part of 90mph high 80's.i think if you raced him on concrete or black top or what ever you would win.i think on a loose gravel/dirt road he may spank you.thats always been a issue with banshee tire spin in the worst way.are you gonna race from a standing start from a roll on.theres really no way to know this un til you tell us about it.i will tell you thouh if the lt is spot on and running like it should and he can ride it you may be in trouble.now im not trying to say anything bad about a banshee here, im just trying to compare you and him.if you had a stroker and a drag port with all the other goodies and could ride it he wouldnt have a chance.but like i say i have owned a lt 500 and the one i had was not a turd when i owned it i used to spank all kinds of shit.
