Hope that can help you, how to cut front fenders. This is my method but it's not the only one.

First step: take your beautiful elephant ears

2:With a felt-tip pen , trace a line of cut

3: Follow your line of cut with a jig saw

Result

4:Do the same thing on other side

5:Finally I use a blade of utility knife

Wow guys, thanks for all the posts! Tons of great info and I wasn't expecting all these pics!

I'm leaving on vacation soon, so I'll decide how I want to cut them when I come back.

If you just leave the ears on you can fly just like dumbo.

Better off buying full bore plastics cut plastics looks foolish

cut plastic looks foolish? WTF....maybe it looks foolish if you dont have the ability to do it well. i cut mine, and it looks great( will have pics up shortly) there are plenty of bikes on here with home cut plastic... some of us would rather build, not buy! any a-hole can buy looks and performance!

I really like the thinning out of the back fenders too....

I'm going with what Simon posted I think...I really like that angled/sharp look.

If I do Simons fronts, what should I do to the rear?

+1 on the DIY.

The reason I like my bike so much is all the work I have done myself...

I'd rather ride anyday, but when money is tight, weather is bad, etc...I also get some joy out of working on her!

I'd rather say "I did this myself" than say "Look what Alba (whoever) did for me."

It's a bond...my Banshee has the love of my first son, but drains money like my first wife.

(I'm only 19 so I don't have either, but I'm sure that's how it is!!)
